The picture's best asset is the leading woman's smile
deickemeyer21 July 2017
The farce in which an Irish hod-carrier falls heir to a million, spends it and then goes back to his bricks and mortar. Charles H. France, author and producer, has added one or two new incidents; but the picture's best asset is the leading woman's smile; Lillian Leighton's personality will go a long way toward saving any picture at all. She plays Mrs. Sweeney and seemed very popular in the part. John Lancaster plays Sweeney. The lawyer takes him to the bank where he gets and takes home a million dollars. It is well photographed. - The Moving Picture World, February 22, 1913
