This was lent to me by a friend with zero expectations. What a surprise! I didn't know that in Argentina filmmakers also tapped into genre movies. This proves that talented people are in the most unusual places. "Kidon" is a complete stunner visually and has powerful twist at the end. I was waiting for a minimalist Argentine movie and found an intelligent script and most important of all a story with character arcs and plot points. The camera work and the photography is fist-rate mainly the interiors lit with an eerie shaft of moonlight. I was told that the director is a film critic and my advice is: drop that and focus on making movies. A lot of people will thank that.
