Style without substance

A major director in his day, Nic Cramer made a lot of movies for Private Media in Europe in addition to his Chatsworth hits like "Looker" and "A Clockwork Orgy". This atmospheric tale set in a castle has Euro babes galoe to capture one's eye, but there ain't no meat on its bones.

Femme voiceover in heavily accented English by our innocent young heroine provides a modicum of story -she's a bucktoothed beauty taken by her lover Zenza Raggi to his ancestral home as a birthday present, though it is unbridled sex there that is the real gift to her.

In the vast library of the home they read from a book limning the erotic adventures of a baroness who lived there, and a real baroness (young beauty herself) takes them on a fantasy tour of sex and more sex. Climax is a vast orgy of folks in period dress, which they mostly remove as the couple watches them coupling.

It's an empty erotic exercise, hardly up to the storytelling standard of Nic's best work. I saw a similar, more abstract effort he made for New Sensations/Digital Sin in which he explained in the BTS his fondness for music, and here a classical music score helps build the romantic mood that is largely absent from the mechanical sexual performances.
