Trash at its best!

Bore Lee and his movies are one of best kept secrets in Croatian cinematography. He's been doing his trashy kung fu comedies for more than a decade and audience simply adore him! This is his first movie published in DVD format and it was a huge hit in Croatia, Bosnia & Slovenia. As you can see, many people vote for him even on IMDb site. To be honest, his movies are rather poor in quality and budget but they are very rich in spirit and imagination. For example, in this movie who plays himself coming from small village into capitol city of Croatia (Zagreb, that is "big Z" in English translation) to study yoga because there are none yoga classes in his village. Of course, he crosses the path of dangerous gang led by notorious Zli Kovac (Evil Kovac) who is molesting visitors of club called Mocvara (The Swamp). Gang is trying to bribe him to become one of them by offering him money, drugs and whores. Of course, he is in-loved with his girlfriend Anayoga (who is, by the way, his yoga instructor) and he refuses their offer. After that, gang kidnapped Anayoga and Bore Lee is forced to join the gang. But, that turned around when he found out where is Anayoga imprisoned and everything ends up in huge final fight where Bore wins but Anayoga dies while jumping in front of him catching the bullet instead of him. None of this describes crazy, surreal atmosphere of whole movie and Bore himself. Nothing in this movie is quite normal and average and there are lot of Croatian celebrities which have small parts (cameos) appearing in this movie. Simply, if you have a chance to see this movie, DON'T HESITATE!!!

Bore Lee is a silly person (the most suitable word for him) from city of Sinj in wasteland of Croatia. City which is known by it's nationalistic population, Sinjskoj alci*, bunch of stone mountains that surround it and the only "real" celebrity in Croatia Bore Lee aka Boris Ivkovic. When people talk about this movie, they never mention director or writer because this movie is all about Bore Lee. Best known by his astonishing kung-fu technic, Confucius like philosophy and haiku poetry, Bore fights underground gangs and evil superheroes of a big town. Best, maybe the only real trash movie from Croatia. *Sinjska alka - traditional knight tournament in commemoration of the 1715 victory over the Turks.
