What would you do?
tomg-824 January 2004
This film has everything to do with the current debate about the toughened society we live in nowadays. Imaging yourself in a train and you hear somebody gets harassed in this train. Everybody is looking at each other, but do not take action. This is never understood by victims of these kind of tragedies.

The main character (a doctor, family man, teacher of the victim) in this film is troubled by his lack of heroism, and tries to reconcile with this, but realizes this is pointless and with hindsight. He does not understand, while being in situation of being in the majority, people (including him) still didn't intervene. What should you do? You should group and act; but what would you do? Freeze into indecision, and feel guilty about this later?

In the film the teacher is given an opportunity to undo his wrongdoing, and do an act of heroism in the end. In real life you won't get this opportunity, maybe you should grab the opportunity to help a person in distress in the first time.
