The unusual introduction to this direct-to-DVD wreck proudly proclaims this is the first effort from "Pendulum Pictures." It is not hard to see why Pendulum has not become a household word in the seven years since this mess was released. Apparently the fiasco was renamed TORN (on the DVD case) from SUMMER DESIRE after the focus group pointed out that simply filming four average looking chicks having pretend sex every few minutes with a collection of loser guys portrays little "desire" and produces less. Maybe in 1898 back alley "dirty" movie goers were titillated to discover women had boobs under their clothing. This fact no longer is news. Half of the alleged sex scenes in this travesty are abruptly curtailed by ringing phones. Another quarter end with the ultimate erotic art no-no: premature ejaculation! (Viewers are told this by the "actresses," since any actual male organs are MIA.) The remaining trysts shown would require replumbing the human anatomy before actual love connections could even be assumed. Coupled with poor dialog, no acting skill, and the absence of a plot, this is a complete waste of 85 minutes and 21 seconds. The only hope for humanity is that six of the eight leads managed to keep their names or pseudonyms off this site, including all of the women involved ("Amanda Peader-Collins, Anka Romensky, Chantell Thomas and Mary Milligton").

Stunning girls hold you at attention

Anka Romensky, Chantel Thomas, Amanda Peadar-Collins keep you at attention through this trivial plot about love, jealousy and infidelity. The men in the cast become a part of the wallpaper, but the setting in Florida is great. There are lots of juggling boobs and simulated sex, in warm and partly wet environments. Kate, played by Amanda is a writer with writer's block, and goes with boyfriend and two other couples to Florida to visit a friend living on the waterfront. One of the other two girls is having an affair with Kate's boyfriend. The mood of the movie is set in the jacuzzi and on the sunny beach. Nice couples touch to the movie, which is definitely softcore. These girls must have been in Playboy.
