Did not suggest any solutions to the problem
zzmale17 March 2004
The literal translation of the title of this movie is: Bronze Evil.

Like most contemporary Chinese crime movies, this movie is also based on the true story that really happened, and the artifacts that were stolen were from Bronze age, and hence the name of this movie, Bronze Evil. However, this movie only eulogizes the law enforcement's efforts for fighting the crime, but it does not provide any solution to the problem and its cause:

In comparison to smuggling ancient artifacts, the income earned by selling tickets of the museums which display these artifacts are simple too low, and to earn big bucks, locals often resorts to the crime of smuggling because income of legitimate business practice would not even come close.
