One that got away.
One of the few programmes that has had me in uncontrollable tears of laughter. Something that in these days where a knowing smile makes a comedy show, we so lack. Just utterly silly slapstick humour, but brilliantly, with the best timing and physical performances you could hope for.
Some of the physical action comedy wouldn't look out of place in a parkour video.
And of course it was only shown on channel 4 very late at night. Perhaps it just wasn't ironic enough for the trendy metropolitan programme planners, who knows?
A sad miss, could have been huge.
