Possibly Newman and Baddiel's worst live video

Warning: Spoilers
For those that don't know; this is a video by comedians Robert Newman and David Baddiel. The video features short sketches and stand-up sections performed individually by Newman and Baddiel.

What lets this video down is the weak stand-up sections. The stand-up sections are much better in their Live and in Pieces and Shaftesbury Theatre videos. In the stand-up segments some of the things Baddiel discusses includes: urinating in public, Scotland and writing cheques. This is fairly standard observational humour territory fortunately Baddiel's delivery is good and there's some laughs to be had. Newman's stand-up is more politically orientated. Some topics he discusses include: famine, education in prisons and animals. His delivery is very good and his set is funny but it seems to lack the energy his other live shows have. The Sketches are the best part. The History Today sketches (in which two university professors insult each other with childish, playground insults) are excellent. There's also a Daytime TV spoof, Rob Newman impersonating Robert Smith and a sarcastic son sketch.

Summary: A solid stand-up video. Unfortunately the other Newman and Baddiel videos are better. I would recommend this to fans but for someone with a general interest in comedy/Stand-Up I would recommend Live and in pieces or Shaftesbury Theatre.
