Sex & Nudity

  • A man reaches toward a young woman to buckle her seat belt.
  • A girl takes off her t-shirt to reveal her bra for a brief scene. She begins to clip it off but stops.
  • A girl swims in a pool in a two piece swimsuit. Then, an older man looks at her, briefly.
  • The main character wears low-cut tops through-out.
  • Statues and a drawing of topless women can be faintly seen in the background.

Violence & Gore

  • Scenes from a horror movie are shown in the begining. Intense with some blood visible.
  • Images of car crashes are shown in a high school educational video on drunk driving. Very intense though not at all graphic.
  • There is lots of fighting (some between adults and children). This includes punches, kicks, people being thrown around and held down, and bashes over the head. Unwilling injections (mostly offscreen), a stabbing, and a few harmful car crashes (intense, with bloody results).

Profanity

  • About four uses of "s--t", around 3 uses of "b---h", two uses of "g-d--n", a half dozen uses of "hell" as well as fewer uses of "damn". "B-st--d is used once or twice, "god" is profainly used the same. "Crap" is said occasionally throughout. Name calling and insults.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • One of the characters is a diabetic, who throughout the film becomes increasingly addicted to prescription drugs.
  • Several characters drink wine casually.
  • Young girls are seen smoking behind their parents backs.
  • Drinking and driving is referenced, sometimes crudely.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The film is a thriller, mostly psychological, though several scenes are suspenseful and intense in nature.
  • An older man says and does things to a teenage girl that is mildly suggestive (i.e. Stares at her and tells her his wife makes him feel lonely). This can be creepy.
