Marriott's last film should be titled Low Jinks In Mayfair.
Ben Wrigley starred in this and one other film for Adelphi. In this film he is cleaning a window above a jewellers shop when robbers through a brick through the shop window. His bucket drops on a robber and scares them off,so he is acclaimed a hero. Moore Marriott plays his grandfather.
Wrigley is employed by Lady Barr-Nunn and the comedy is as feeble as the name implies.
There is a musical interlude where Wrigley disguises himself in drag. The it switches to a seance where the Lady's jewels are snatched by a robber. However Wrigley recovers the jewels and catches the crook.
There is a romantic plot but it is not worth mentioning. Unsurprisingly Wrigley didn't appear in another film for over 20 years.
