Sex & Nudity

  • A woman strips down to blend in with the local natives. The camera zooms in on her breasts. Later, she is shown walking around topless but covered in tribal paint and wearing a leaf belt covering her crotch.
  • Several natives are shown in closeup including men's genitals and women's breasts. The shots are cut pretty fast, but there are quite a few of them.

Violence & Gore

  • Footage of animals (mostly deceased) being disembowelled as part of a funerary ritual.
  • We see a man removing his gas mask during a toxic chemical leak; an audio-recording of him later implies that he suffocated to death.
  • A young lab technician has his shoulder eaten on-screen as he screams in pain. High amounts of blood. Other background characters are seen being eaten at, having organs and tissue removed from their bodies.
  • We see a dead rat climb up a man's safety mask, chewing through his neck. Copious amounts of blood, including an implied popped artery as blood spurts across the mask's plastic shield.
  • A zombie kitten bursts from an elderly woman's crotch area.
  • Some graphic gross-out-type scenes, including maggots being picked from a corpse's eye socket and eaten, a man vomiting as another man regurgitates a rotten corn cob, a man urinating on a corpse, and a boy with an infected wound on his stomach.
  • We see a terrorist forced to surrender and drop his gun. Rather than arresting him, a man jumps out and slits his throat; large amount of blood, but the scene is quite brief.
  • Multiple scenes of zombies, including zombies violently attacking and killing. A little boy rips his father's heart out (offscreen) and eats it after becoming a zombie, in one of the more disturbing attacks.

Profanity

  • English version features multiple uses of "shit", "turd", "savages", "hell", "damn/goddamn", "gooks", "screw off" and "jerks".
  • "fuck" appears as a frequent profanity in almost every language translation of this film.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • One scene in a bar with moderate drinking of alcohol in the background, and another scene of cigarette smoking.
  • A man sees zombies lurching forward. He remarks that they could be "drunk, or drugged".
  • A man shares his chewing tobacco with a woman after telling her that her cigarette needs to be put out.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • We see a United Nations meeting where genocide is discussed. Member nations throw papers angrily and shout. This may frighten some viewers.
  • The visual appearance of the Hope Centre chemical factory is portrayed very eerie, in turquoise shading, with zombies jumping out of the shadows to attack. This may frighten some viewers.
  • The appearence of the zombies may frighten some. The multiple gory moments and several shots of dead bodies may disturb more than a few.
