SINFUL CONFESSION is a Shaw Brothers comedy whose plot defies description as there's not much of a story and various characters who come and go as the running time progresses. It starts off with mild satire and a film director as lead character but moves onto a dentist struggling with his randy patients and then at the end we get a bit of gambling too. It mains exists to showcase some laughs and a fair bit of sniggering nudity, and fans of Michael Hui will be well pleased with his role here as the harassed dentist, but I expected and hope for a little more grit.
