- There is a scene where a man is stabbed in the neck, although there is little or no blood, it comes as a surprise and is disturbing.
- While there is very little violence, it is quite disturbing.
- A man is strangled to death, and others are executed in a non-graphic but still brutal way. We also see a couple of characters who are said to have been tortured heavily and have faces covered in scars and bruises -- one of these people subsequently dies.
