Sex & Nudity

Violence & Gore

  • A man (of identity unknown), hidden between the leaves and the branches, prepares a Sicilian lupara rifle to kill as the title credits roll. He later waits for the truck driven by Salvatore Colasberna to pass, and shoots at the window. The truck proceeds, but later falls back to the same location, as the dying Colasberna opens the door and falls.

Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Sex & Nudity

  • Rosario Pizzuco tries to force himself onto Rosa Nicolosi inside her house, but she is able to react. He later makes up and alibi stating that he was at her house having consensual sex with her.
  • Rosa Nicolosi's daughter is seen taking a bath inside a small tub as Rosario Pizzuco arrives. Rosa takes away the tub. Although partial child nudity may be present, it is not sexual in any way, although it possibly introduces to Pizzuco's attempted sexual badness to Nicolosi.

Violence & Gore

  • As Don Mariano Arena and Rosario Pizzuco are together in a cell at the Carabinieri station, and their plan has been (temporarily) discovered by Captain Bellodi, the Mafia Don forces Pizzuco to repeatedly strike a wall edge with his head as a punishment (minor visibile blood).
  • There is a scene in which a road is being demolished as part of the search of Tano Nicolosi, but when a corpse is found, it is that of Carabinieri informer Calogero "Parrinieddu" Dibella, with a large plug struck in his mouth, indicating that the Mafia found out that he was a spy.
