Sex & Nudity

  • An older woman voices an objection to her neighbor spending time alone in her house with her boyfriend. The woman says that someone has to keep an eye on the girl and her sister while their parents are away, implying the girls' behavior puts them at risk.
  • A woman is shown in a single-piece bathing suit. One or two mild comments made about men being in a woman's room. A movie about surfers is viewed by the characters, but this is far away and not suggestive.

Violence & Gore

  • A kidnapper shoves his hostage, roughly backing her against kitchen objects. Another kidnapper almost punches the woman.
  • One fist-fight-no blood. A few gunshots, all of which miss their targets.

Profanity

  • Patti Randall tells Kelso that her cat's name, D. C., means "Darn Cat." Her father originally named him and called him something much worse; one can guess as to what this was.
  • Name-calling: stupid, moronic, pea-brained, nosy, fiend, menace, guttersnipe, meatball, meathead, buzzard, and old broad.
  • None.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • One character constantly has a pipe in his mouth
  • A young woman says that she loves the smell of pipe tobacco.
  • One scene of smoking.

Frightening & Intense Scenes
