Totò has done everything (except the western parody); in this case he was thrown into the "lounge" and kitsch environment of the documentary-movie in vogue in the sixties. To tell the truth there is very little documentary and it is stuck to botched sketches, in the company of the amiable Macario. A fairly limp film but one that makes you smile even for the icon of the two comedians as double bass players who lives a life of their own, especially when they go wild with the "Rosa Morena" twist.
