Probably funny in its day
SimonJack29 July 2018
It probably seemed much funnier in its day. But, several decades later, "Out for Fun" just isn't that humorous. This is a common short that MGM produced during its heyday to run with feature films in theaters. This one is by Pete Smith, who narrates, and it stars Dave O'Brien.

The subject is hobbies that a businessman might have with which to relax after work. So, O'Brien has accident after calamity after goof-up as he pursues several pastimes in order. First, he tries golf. Next, it's duck hunting. Then model airplane building and finally, flying electric model airplanes.

Well into the 21st century, this is just a ho-hum dvd disc filler at best.
