This little B crime film is a rare gem, especially if it is aired on a French Tv cable channel. From Republic Pictures. It is question of moonshine in the countryside, of course, and Robert Armstrong plays a very interesting character, a tough gang leader, very ambivalent and rather rare for a lead role. There is also a love interest in this short crime feature, it could not have been in another way. Good tense action scenes; don't forget that Republic Pictures was also the company of serials, so they know how to shoot action sequences. To summarize, this is an agreeable programmer to discover.
