An immigrant fishing family is forced to decide whether to stay or leave Alaska after the snow crabs they depend on for their livelihood disappear. Pronounced sa-la-jin, the title is based on the Korean word for disappearing. Based on the real life closures of the king and snow crab fisheries in Alaska for the first time in history, this film is a signal of present and future displacement.
