Warning: Spoilers
I am very curious about why people think of it as a love story?

Oliver sleeps with a boy then leaves him for a woman, there's no way this behaviour can be interpreted as love. The so called love is imaginary. He is 24 years old. He should be responsible. He should know what is the right thing to do.

That boy falls for the man so he gives up everything for him. It's also not something we should celebrate. It's a warning. How can you love someone if you don't know how to love or protect yourself first?

We see the boy gets hurt badly in the end. This pain could have been avoided if he knows how to protect himself or that man knows how to be responsible for his behaviours. Honestly, I didn't have any feelings after watching this movie. When I see the boy crying in front of the fireplace, I watched that and I thought: well ok you deserve this. You were also very bad to your girlfriend. The most ironic thing in this movie is that: the boy's girlfriend loves him more than that man does yet that boy chooses to hurt the girl for that man. So horrible.

This movie is not about love. If you really want to call it love, this kind of love is twisted and unhealthy and harmful. Healthy love is different.
