The Trades: A Dull Departure from the Trailer Park Boys Legacy
24 March 2024
Warning: Spoilers
As fans of the beloved Trailer Park Boys, many of us were eagerly anticipating a new comedic venture from the minds behind the iconic characters like Ricky, Julian, and Bubbles. However, with the arrival of "The Trades," it's evident that lightning doesn't always strike twice.

One of the most glaring issues with "The Trades" is its dry humor and lackluster plot. Unlike the irreverent and uproarious antics of Trailer Park Boys, "The Trades" falls flat with jokes that fail to elicit more than a polite chuckle. The humor feels forced and uninspired, leaving viewers yearning for the trademark wit and spontaneity that made Trailer Park Boys a cult classic.

Maybe its just me but I miss edgy and boundary-pushing humor that made Trailer Park Boys so unforgettable. Life may be mundane at times, but entertainment should provide an escape from the monotony, not mirror it.
