This movie is a good representative of a nation

This movie must be watched to the end, endured, and seen through to understand how weak Germans are in human relations and how incapable they are in expressing emotions. They suffer from a kind of self-absorption that prevents them from integrating with other cultures, learning to love, be sensitive, or establishing high-level communication. The consequences of war have caused a generation that is deeply troubled, suppressed, orphaned to handed over parents, and young people to society today who are still severely lacking in human culture and maturity.

Even a writer of a drama film cannot describe and convey the atmosphere effectively. The conversations are meaningless and mimic the performances of drama films. Meaningless shots like pouring water, a dog picking up a sponge, represent the pinnacle of meaning in a German drama. The dreams they describe are like arrows aimlessly shot in nowhere directions. The jokes aren't funny at all. The conversations have no value in expression. Artificial smiles that are always on their lips to keep themselves closed off and annoy the audience.

Yes, Germans are capable in making harsh films, narrating World War stories, but when it comes to human gatherings, family, understanding each other, talking about emotions, intentions, and human thoughts, they are poor and helpless.
