Essentially a story of a film within a film, this is a funny satire in which Steve Martin depicts a struggling filmmaker in Hollywood attempting to make a film on a small budget with a star who does not know that he is in the movie. Martin is solid in his role but the real star here is Eddie Murphy who gives an impressive performance in the dual role. They're joined by the likes of Heather Graham and Robert Downey Jr. The script is rather well written and I think that Frank Oz did a great job directing the film. Some scenes here just aren't that funny but plenty are and it's well worth a watch.
