The ide of the movie is noble and important indeed. A serial rapist is on the loose and his victims team up to stop him and other rapists-to-be. Unfortunatly I think that the movie gives a weird angle to the whole problem and the women in the movie are not very smart in their approach. They form a vigilante group but they don't calculate the dangers in a good way and they once again become victims. The serial rapist "Jingle bells" graduate to become a killer and the women trying to find him are one step behind. I liked the movie as such, it's worth watching for sure. Also, the 70's feeling is strong in this movie, gotta love the furniture and culture of the 70's.
