Watched this Oscar Nominated Animated short called 'Pachyderme' thinking it was going to be a tale of an elephant or something.
What I got was a complex and horrifying take on child abuse, told largely through symbols, but the message was crystal clear.
A stunning bit of work which will leave me with thoughts, and really needs to come with a trigger warning with its subject matter.
The quote "doesn't like flowers to wither" is one of the most singular horrifying lines I've heard.
Great short to watch, braveky written and told, but beware, there be dragons here. 8 out of 10.
