Narvik doesn't bring out the bloodlust of the Nazi expansionism in the usual terror inducing manner. Instead the story describes how human lives were overlooked by both sides and the real terror of the lives captured between war. The fear, darkness and uncertainty is signalled very well by the use of visuals and colour. Unrest brought by unavoidable war to the simple lives of non waring nations told well with perspective of Tofte family. Narvik's boldness in bringing up the questionable strategies of saviors is admirable. Great performances by the cast. Hissing of bullets and bombarding doesn't effect the emotional side of this great story of a dark forgotten time.
