Everyone likes a certain type of Hallmark film, and this was not mine.
I'm actually surprised to see such high scores for it on this site.
It started quite slowly, and the female lead character was unappealing in terms of her behaviour. I know that was part of the point, but I didn't find myself rooting for her as I should have been. Some of the dialogue wasn't great either.
It does improve as it goes alone, but for me the damage had already been done.
I think Hallmark are trying to shake things up having lost some of their key players recently, but I prefer the older more traditional style.
