The movie starts Josef who is an heavily alcohol addicted men who live in the house of his mother in the first floor. His mother died in a home for aged people without even being noticed by him. His sister visits him and tells him the news which he barely notice in his situation. She asked him to sell the house since she needs the money, which he declines since it's his home. To save money she needs to move to the house with her young daughter Nina. Despite being alcohol addicted Josef tries to establish a relationship to Nina and be a good uncle. This is roughly the first half of the movie which is a sometimes a little bit harder to watch but plays an important part for the great second half of the movie, which without spoiler should be noticed as being completely different and lovely (keeping in mind that this is still a drug movie).
I definitely recommend to give this movie a chance because it's great cinema!
