I have to admit that I picked up the DVD because I liked the cover, it was only a couple dollars so what the hey. I am glad I did though because this ended up being a pretty good horror movie. A couple of young boys in Northern Spain evidently to visit their old town that is being flooded to created a huge lake for their new town. What the boys found trapped was unspeakable evil that escapes after murdering one of the boys. Years later, he returns to destroy the town and its residents.
This is a pretty entertaining movie with some memorably gory moments and a town celebration that turns into an orgy. The actors all do a competent job, with a very sinister and creepy big bad wreaking havoc in order to exact his revenge.
I don't understand why all the negative reviews as this is a watchable horror film.
