It's alright
9 July 2023
I remember watching this 1994 American animated musical fantasy film on the VHS when I was younger. I thought I found it very entertaining but it's not quite good as the other Don Bluth films such as The Secret NIMH, An American Tail, The Land Before Time and Anatasia. Though I really don't dislike it but it's alright for myself. At least the voice acting is pretty decent like Jodi Benson (an actress who voiced Ariel from Disney's The Little Mermaid as we know) and the late Gilbert Gottfried (a same actor who voiced Iago from Disney's Aladdin as know as well).

It was originally distributed in 1994 by Warner Bros. Under its Family Entertainment imprint but since 2002, 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment (now 20th Century Studios Home Entertainment but I still don't care) owns the distribution rights to this 1994 film. As of 2019, Disney now owns the distribution rights of the same film after their purchase of 21st Century Fox. By the way I don't know why Warner Bros. Sold the distribution rights of this film to 20th Century Fox.

It's probably one of the most underrated animated films of all time.
