Mariselvaraj is well known for his social discrimination aspects in his films and he did justice to that in his previous movies, he did the same in Maamannan but the film was not up to the mark. It predominantly deals with the caste discrimination and the Contemporary untouchability. But the film also had too many lag. Fahad faasil and Vadivelu had stolen the show. Can see a truly Class performance from our humour legend Vadivelu. Udhay and Keerthi were overshadowed by the performance of FaFa and Vadivelu. The last 15mins of first half was truly a Midas touch of mariselvaraj. The second half had the predominant lag part in the film. But that doesn't mean that it hadn't conveyed the message that the director intended to. As usual we can't pass away without talking about mariselvaraj's animal metaphor, Truly mesmerizing. The climax has the core of the film.
