Cards on the table, I am a huge fan of Gene Wilder movies I originally saw the movie back in the 80's when I was just a young lad and seemed to remember enjoying it. Possibly because of Kelly LeBrock
Finally saw it again last night on Freevee and it was very disappointing to say the least
Laughs are few and far between. Sound track is good and of course Kelly LeBrock is rather beautiful. BUT she could not act her way out of a paperbag. She is soooo wooden throughout the film.
Gilda Radner on the other hand is a decent actress however she is totally underused in the film Some films are best left as fond memeries from years gone by and this falls into this category.
Think I need to go and watch See no evil, Hear no evil to remind myself how funny Gene Wilder can be.
