I was not sure quite what to think of Inoperable. It started off quite well with an interesting premise. A woman involved in a car accident gets taken to a hospital where she is trapped in a horror hellscape. While I enjoyed it, I could also see a few problems as well. It started to become repetitive with the whole Groundhog Day scenario. There were quite a few imaginative kills and the story with the cop and the young woman he was escorting to make a statement about a drug deal that had gone wrong. I thought that was going to be the reason why they were all stuck in this recurring time loop, but then the story changed again. It was like the director just decided to do a complete 360 and start a whole new story. As much as I liked the ending, it seemed to veer off in a whole other direction. Still, I have seen worse films and this did have a few interesting ideas even if it did seem to lose focus towards the end.
