I really hated hated how it ended, heart wrenching Edward and Alphonse leaving Winry while they were her best friends, they played when they were children and now they went their own ways it's really sad but the ending theme song really fits it, I wisg they ended up getting married and that the brothers stayed in the alchemy world, I saw somewhere that it is how it ended in the manga, but for its own sake, the mix between the occult and politics was really cool, a lot of theories show it to have been so, more emphasis on that could have been cool too, in any case it was a nice throwback to this anime.
