The plot is not the most original and basically predictable, but the main actor is so organic in this role that I got incredible pleasure from watching.
In general, we have seen many films with a similar plot, but usually the events unfold in the modern world. The best example is the attack on the police station. However, for some reason, I remembered "The Magnificent Seven" and "Seven Samurai", and I'll tell you why - the main actor. And in this film, he is no less textured and memorable than Yul Brynner in The Seven. I want to look at him again and again! The whole text and emotions fit him so well that it feels like Alexander was brought from the wild west in a time machine in order to make this film.
