I did enjoy this show as a quick binge however it was a bit bland and the acting wasn't great.
Summer was a very annoying character that didn't really need to be there. I feel like most of the plot could have worked well, maybe even better without her.
I think this was a missed opportunity for a great character though especially since she was meant to be the main character but you hardly ever saw her. Ari made a much better focus point.
The ending was also quite disappointing. I didn't think Ari and Summer had a connection at all and that kiss made no sense whatsoever. Why does every teen show have to turn into a "love story" or "romance" can't we just have a normal coming of age story for once?
Overall if your a bit bored and want something to watch to fill time it's pretty good. But if you want to watch a great show with great acting and plot lines, i wouldn't recommend.
