Going into this I knew nothing about it, I initially thought it was gonna be Kathryn Newton was hunting Vince Vaughan because she was obsessed with him but it turns out to be a massive spoof Freaky Friday and reference plenty of other horror franchises (Halloween, Scream, The Shining to name a few)
The film is fun of light hearted silky humour, a lot of jokes for a younger audience I think. Don't expect too much from the plot, just have fun with it. There's quite a few gory scenes that are satisfying for someone who wants a slasher film.
I quite liked both main characters portrayals. Hats off to the actors, they brought a lot to their roles (usually horror or slasher movies have awful acting, but not the case in Freaky)
I missed the chance to see this in the cinema when it came out, glad I gave it a chance. Defo worth one watch.
