This is one of the best television and adventurous game shows for children I've watched throughout my childhood before and after homework. I mainly prefer the first few series than the more recent ones like with any television shows I watch.
The title character is an immortal warlord and brilliantly performed by Scottish actor: James Mackenzie. He gets his warriors to participate in many challenges in order to win gold rings and demolish any of those hooded demons. Some of my favourite challenges I recall are Eyeless Demons, Demon Square (with the wisdom tree giving true or false questions), Blasted Mountain, Riddle Bridge, Serpent's Eye (archery challenge), Millstone Towers and Tower Build and love the music played in Last Stand (one with Raven's archenemy whose name spelled backwards). Some challenges where the warriors fight against each other in combat and some challenges I'm a little uneasy with like Spider's Tunnel and Snake Pit with slithering serpents, and one with rats in some chamber.
It may be a kid's show yet it's quite an intriguing adventure game show even for young adults if there was a version of it where I live.
