Anything goes with The Forever Purge.
18 December 2022
With the Government back in power, The Purge is reinstated, and despite efforts to hide away from it, this time it's different.

Anarchy, The Purge has always been about a lack of control, this one descends into total carnage, I'd become a little disenchanted with the franchise, The Forever Purge sees something of an improvement.

It seems to ask a relevant question, what would happen if law and order ceased to be, and chaos ensued?

It is very, very well produced, it looks great, it looks like a big money film, the effects look pretty realistic to me.

One of the most violent, sadistic and twisted films of the lot, there are several uncomfortable scenes, several moments where you'll squirm in your seat.

People are criticising it for being heavily political, and focused on what's going on in the world, am I missing something, or does that not have a relevance right now?

It would be good if it came to an end here, this was a decent entry to the franchise, one I think which should signal the end.

7/10.
