I had always seen Access Hollywood for a couple of seconds and then I would turn to another channel, but one evening I watched it for close to 5 minutes, and that was excruciating. I was bored out of my mind. Celebrities nowadays are so uninteresting and plastic. None of them are relatable, and it's not only because they're rich... They just don't seem like the type of people who you could have a fascinating conversation with over lunch or coffee. They remind me of coworkers. No matter how many hours and days you're around them, you can tell they're not fully being themselves. I could care less about celebrities' love lives. And I don't watch any new films or TV shows because the acting is so crappy. This show serves no purpose for me. I care about real news. Unless you're curious about celebrity gossip, then you'll love AH. Otherwise, save your brain cells and watch PBS.
