House of 1000 Corpses (2003)
15 October 2022
House of 1000 Corpses isn't a story driven by plot or character development, and don't expect it to be for a movie of this genre. Instead, it's a dark, sinister, somewhat comedic, thrill ride full of gore and satisfying aesthetics for horror fans alike. Rob Zombie adds in his own elements of style that leave memorable characters and scenes for his viewers. Like the fated victims of the story, who travel down a back-country road to encounter the strange and fantastical charm of rural America, this movie is for those who are equally eager to delve into the deranged, outsider, cult-like appeal this movie presents.
