All around pretty bad. The writing is weak. Some of the acting is horrible. I get that it's intended to mimic the classic show but it does a very poor job at times. This movie does not do the original show any justice.
The sets are easily the best part of this film. That appears to be where they hired people that are actually good at their craft.
Cinematography is the worst I've seen in as long as I can remember. They shot terrible angles that are completely unflattering to the actors and just look bad. Rob Zombie made great music. He makes bad films. Keep him out of the editing room. Skip this film.
