End of the Road (II) (2022)
8/10
Considering there are slim pickings for decent watchable films out there, this Netflix gem was an entertaining watch.

I wasn't expecting much due to the critics going hard on this one, but I surprisingly enjoyed it more than I expected. Ludacris shined as the unfit uncle, and it was great to see Beau Bridges kicking around still.

TV-show director Millicent Shelton was great directing this touching and wild saga. Although the story is nothing revolutionary to the genre, and you'll note some typical cliches, it was well acted and produced, and the decent pacing made the comfortable 89 min runtime fly by. It's an entertaining watch with some great tense moments, action and surprising twists. It's one of those "so you thought you were having a bad day" films. I'd for sure see it again. Ignore the critics, it's a fun and entertaining piece of mindless entertainment, and a well deserved 8/10 from me.
