Impressive! Most Impressive!!
21 September 2022
Im not the biggest fan of He Man and I never even thought I'd be here reviewing this movie let alone watch it. However, one night I came across a picture for the poster of Masters of The Universe which really intrigued me so I decided to look up the trailer and I loved the look and feel of the trailer enough for me to want to watch it

Now this movie isn't a masterpiece or one of the greatest movies of all time, far from it. It's very cheesy and im sure it strays mostly from the source material for the hardcore fans and I understand that. It should have included a small origin part for people like me to know He Man is, a bit more of Eternia and so on

However, I personally loved this movie. The plot was decent and so is the acting. What's most impressive to me is the stage set for Skeletor's castle and bits of Eternia as it really gave the movie a true fantasy atmopshere like it's really set in the He Man universe where the characters eventually come across our world in the movie. I could definitely see there was some love and thought that went into making Masters of The Universe

The best part about this movie was of course Skeletor and his actor Frank Langella who stole the show and you can tell he had the time of his life playing Skeletor. He stole every scene and was just awesome

This was also Courtney Cox's first big movie so it was cool seeing her in her first movie for the first time and it also features the actor who played Mr. Strickland in the Back to The Future trilogy in a very cool role as a police officer getting caught up in the battle between He Man and Skeletor.
