I tried - it really did
4 September 2022
On paper this was right up my street, sci-fi, alternative reality, and challenging concepts. The cast is fabulous, wonderful to see Ke Huy Quan back on screen, and Stephanie Hsu was just fantastic in "Mrs Maisel", I really hope she gets more major roles.

But .... It just went over my head. It's like an endless series of vaguely connected visuals. It's done very well, and is great to look at, but overall it's just a bit too bonkers for me. I can see why some people like it though, it's one of those films that you either get, or you don't. I didn't.

Five stars, one for the three main character performances, and two for the Rocks. The Rocks were the best part. By far.
