I loved the first Orphan film and this was a brilliant prequel! All round good acting from the cast and making us believe Esther looked young was very well done. Julia Stiles needs to be in more horror films... she was great in this. Well thought out story which predates the original film. The little bits that you pick up and think "Oh yeah... thats reminds me of the original film, so that's where Esther got that from", are fab. Big twist in the film as well which was a surprise. I hope they carry this franchise on as long as they can or as long as the main actress can portray Esther. Saw this at home and throughly enjoyed it.
