Bart gets expelled as Springfield prepares for Whacking Day.
This is one of my favourite episodes and never fails to make me laugh.
The story is fairly simple, but combined with the setting of Whacking Day it gives a biting satire of animal cruelty and a platform for brilliant comedy. For me it has (along with 'And Maggie Makes Three') one of the best endings to a Simpsons episode.
I think the humour is prolific from start to finish. Bart and Lisa are involved in most of it, but multiple characters such as Homer, Marge, Maggie, Principal Skinner, Superintendent Chalmers, Groundskeeper Willy, Nelson, Jimbo, Mayor Quimby, Barney, Reverend Lovejoy, and Barry White all have memorable moments.
