Cadaver fails to rise above its clichéd revenge plot, average performances, and a cringeworthy love track. The twists don't startle or make you sit up, and the only thing that holds your interest are the lesser-known forensic elements. The film also presents the relatively unexplored area of committing crimes with the help of forensics as opposed to detecting it. Yet, these moments are far and few in a largely uninteresting but occasionally engaging thriller. Aravinnd Singh's cinematography and Rahul's art direction are pretty effective in recreating the feel of a mortuary where much of the film takes place at.
