The film is based on an excellent premise: a crooked Prime Minister of Japan loses his memory, and discovers how terrible a person he was and learns to be a better person. The film is sunny and optimistic, though this reads as a little naive in our increasingly chaotic world. I was also hoping the film would be more funny, with that trademark Mitani humor.
